Typically I prefer screenplays and films that are very visual. I’m definitely enjoy witty, well written dialogue, but it’s not as interesting to me. Aaron Sorkin is the exception to my preference. He is one of the best screenwriters working today. His dialogue isn’t just witty and funny. It’s intense and just as powerful as a brilliant image. In The Social Network, I had chills when Mark Zuckerberg verbally beats down the lawyer. It’s an amazing scene, and a perfect example of something you won’t see in any of my films. I felt a similar feeling when the news archor snaps during his interview in this trailer. This show looks great, and I’m dying to see it.
